Playing With Fire

Yes, as the title implies, today I got to set things on fire.

I love photographing flames, it evokes something primal in me. My intent had been to focus on the fire, but the ashes proved to be more interesting this time.

Transition and impermanence.

These images were all taken in the span of an hour, as the blaze built and then died.
