  • THE KORPES FILEAvailable now on Amazon
As if being born Diasporan wasn’t enough, Technician Nash Korpes had the bad luck to resemble his Tyran ancestors almost identically in both form, and manner. These traits, though highly prized by the special projects division at the shadowy Korlune Military Research and Development, mark him as a remnant of a savage past. With only his intellect holding his sanity in place, he wages a private war against the entire socioeconomic status quo, and begins to uncover the truth that threatens them all.

  • THE INTERVIEW undergoing final revisions
No longer tied to KMR&D, Dr. Nash Korpes, and Master-Mech, Davis Trent, find themselves working for Harlo-Fyre, in the fabulous Korlo Cluster City, Thallen. Will their escape to the private sector be everything they hoped, or will it and the darker forces at play, destroy their friendship forever?

  • INTO THE SEEP undergoing final revisions
Recovering from his recent surgery, Dr. Nash Korpes is abducted by the militant group calling themselves ‘Clan Evora’, and taken to the heart of a savage jungle known to all as ‘The Seep’. With dark forces vying against his friends, in their bid to pay his ransom, in who’s clutches will he end up? Will Nash live long enough to see Harlo-Fyre again?

🙂 I like that. By the way, thanks for liking my page and, of course, the follow, but the page is probably only temporary as it is and the rest of my blog is a hollow empty shell at this point. I have no idea where I’ll be going with it. Despite all that, I appreciate the early follow. How did you come across it?

I belong to Scribophile as Jenn Rogers 🙂 I saw your post in the forum, and checked out your book cover. Let me know where you end up (blog / website wise), and I’ll pick you up there too.

I only ask because I put it up for some input about a mini-cover for a short story. I wasn’t planning on leaving the page as it, but I’m now thinking I’ll tweak it a bit and make a page like it for every mini-cover in a collection of 12. What do you think? 🙂

I vote for having a mini gallery, or portfolio to look at, but I’m an artist by trade. Do you have a portfolio page already established? Do you have a separate website already set up for your writing? You mention you’re a graphic designer on your Scrib profile.
If it were me, I’d use this new site to highlight story segments, concept drawings, etc., as well. Kind of like a journal of the journey.

Oops! Question answered. You know, I had a hard time explaining to people what a temporary mini-ebook cover is and that I didn’t need it to sell a book from across a room, only to enhance a sample short story for a proposed anthology within which this cover would be inserted “inside,” and not “outside.” Oh, well. Still got some good unintended input. 🙂 The book covers you have here are perfect, though. Love them, place-holders or not.

I’d probably describe that as an title page illustration – It’s definitely gripping. It reminds me a bit of Dave McKean’s art in Neil Gaiman’s Mr. Punch

OK. I’ll keep you ‘posted.’ 🙂 Until I get things going, I’ll drop in and take a look at how you do things, learn. Anyway, good blogging. 🙂

By the way, I put a pic of my ugly mug on my bio page, but it’s not a very professional one. Was wondering if I should even put one up and, if so, should I make it a little more artistic or, at least, more professional? Any opinion on that would be appreciated because I have no knowledge of the ins and outs of this website blogging thing. Let me know whenever you can. Thanks.
