Images Abroad. . . China Revisited
Sometimes it pays to go through your stuff. . .
I found these while I was going through my old portfolio case, and I’ll share them with you now.
These photographs were taken in China. It was 1988, it was early November, and it was cold. All I had with me was a basic camera, a super-8 movie camera, and 49ish other art students (we were there because some of us had work in the International Animation Festival, held that year in Shanghai). Sadly, the negatives, and the movie film I shot were destroyed in a flood in 1992, and all I was left with were a single set of prints. I’ve scanned a few, and fixed what could be fixed. I’ll sort through the rest of them once NaNoWriMo is over, and pick out more to share.
